A group of Etz Hayim hebrew school students this week spontaneously created a hebrew school orchestra and played some holiday songs and the Israeli National Anthem during the Etz Hayim Synagogue Chanukah party held at the Derry temple on Tuesday evening, the fifth night of Chanukah. Over 120 people attended the first Chanukah event in the new building. Londonderry twins Orianna Kane, on harp, and Jared Kane, both 12, on cello, were participating with the orchestra.
