Main street was closed from Elm to Punchard streets to make way for Santa, carolers, hayrides and the lighting of the Christmas Tree outside BankNorth on Main Street. DJ Ted Teichert had the kids dancing in front of Old Town Hall to a variety of tunes. A number of stores stayed open late and had a good amount of traffic from people attending the event. Some stores also provided refreshments for their customers. Everybody wants to have their picture taken with Santa. 12/3/2010.
