Photo Courtesy Andover Historical Society. The Photo taken around 1940's shows the Aberdeen building, left, at 348-362 North Main Street. It was built in 1922 by William Wood, then President of American Woolen Company. The company employing forty thousand people in sixty mills over eight states. Its headquarters was in Shawsheen Village from 1923 to 1925.
