Other juniors on the team are: Brendan Mullaney, Meaghan McGuire, Emily Costello, Ashley Prokopik and Jackie Pierson, They presented their team-created (challenge) story at the Destination Imagination regional tournament last Saturday at Sanborn Regional High in Kingston. The students participated in the ''In Disguise'' (fine arts) challenge which allowed them to tell their story using none-verbal theatrical techniques, costume design and teamwork. The Destination Imagination (DI) program encourages teams of learners to have fun, take risks, focus, and frame challenges while incorporating STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), the arts, and service learning. Our participants learn patience, flexibility, confidence, persistence, ethics, respect for others and their ideas, and the collaborative problem. 3/23/2013.
