Over 100 children attended the Derry Lions' Club 32nd. Annual Kids Fishing Derby, co-sponsored by the Derry Parks and Recreation and in conjunction with Derry's Derby Day on Saturday, May 7.

Over 100 children attended the Derry Lions' Club 32nd. Annual Kids Fishing Derby, co-sponsored by the Derry Parks and Recreation and in conjunction with Derry's Derby Day on Saturday, May 7.

Derby Day included pop-up family activities held along Broadway and include free crafts, games, giveaways, live music, balloon art. Sponsors include Derry Economic Development, Derry's Public and Taylor Libraries, Garden Club and the Arts Council.

The Derry Museum of History also offered a salute to America’s first man in space and East Derry native Alan B. Shepard Jr., with free tours. 5/7/2022
