Derry police and fire departments hosted a National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 2 in Derry's MacGregor Park.

Liam Sullivan, seven-months-old is greeted by McGruff the crime fighting dog with the help of his mother, Derry police officer, Erin Sullivan. Sullivan is an eight year veteran with the Derry Police. Derry police and fire departments hosted a National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 2 in Derry's MacGregor Park.

Police and fire officials were on hand to visit with families, enjoy fun activities for the kids and provide information on safety awareness.

Simultaneously, The Slakas, a five piece Nashua-based classic/modern rock band entertained the crowd at the weekly MacGregor Park concert series. 8/02/2022
