Historical tour of Lawrence's canals
Jim Beauchesne, center, a retired Visitor Services Supervisor at Lawrence Heritage State Park talks about the giant turbines behind him in the basement of the Pacific Mills in Lawrence. Lawrence City officials toured areas to learn about the city's canals and their history. The company that currently owns the dam, and its hydro electric power plant along the Merrimack River, no longer wants the canals. 4/2/22
