Historical tour of Lawrence's canals
The lower locks of the canal, where it flows in to the Shawsheen River in Lawrence. Lawrence City officials toured several areas around the canals to learn about them and their history. The company that currently owns the dam, and its hydro electric power plant along the Merrimack River, no longer wants the canals. 4/2/22
