The fire, quickly reaching eight alarms, forced Lawrence to call in mutual aid fire companies from the Merrimack Valley and beyond.
Our local fire departments from Methuen, Andover, North Andover, Haverhill, Salem N.H. Dracut and Lowell were first on the scene to help. But fire departments as far away as Lynn, Salisbury, West Newbury, Beverly, Middleton and Danvers were also needed to fight the fire and for station coverage. 4/15/2022
