Hampstead: Peggy Thrasher, Director of the Hampstead Public Library, was painting a sign that will be updated in green as more and more residents take up the library's carbon challenge. As of Wednesday afternoon, there were 15 people who agreed to take small actions to reduce their carbon footprint. The kickoff event was to be held Wednesday night at the library.
