A Sabbath Eve Service and Yom Hashoah concert of remembrance was held at Temple Emanual in Andover Friday night. Some people being remembered were musicians – and despite being held captive in Nazi concentration camps and eventually herded into gas chambers, they continued to be musicians, composing works that are still played today, nearly three-quarters of a century after the end of World War II and the liberation of those who survived the Holocaust.
