The 20th annual “Brides’ March” held to raise awareness about and prevent domestic and sexual violence was held on Monday, September 26 at the Saunders Crossing Apartments in South Lawrence.

The 20th annual “Brides’ March” held to raise awareness about and prevent domestic and sexual violence was held on Monday, September 26 at the Saunders Crossing Apartments in South Lawrence.
Over 50 people including city officials attended the ceremony which included a candlelight vigil, reading of victims names, a moment of silence and prayer followed by the march to the O' Connell South Lawrence Common.
The ceremony was conducted outside the apartment building where Mariel Ramos De Los Santos, 30, was stabbed to death by her husband in June. Mariel's mother, Luisa De Los Santos and other family members attended. 9/26/2022
